Milo创立于1993年，但最早可以追溯到80年代，在苏联时代，波兰几乎没有私营企业，Milo的拥有者是在波兰的一个小公寓的房间，用两台简易的缝纫机开始制作第一件夹克，在那些日子里，MILO曾经是为数不多之登山和攀岩服装的制造商和先驱者之一。
在90年代早期，Marcin Kwasniewski开始了建立一个知名波兰户外品牌的历程；尽管在过去经营良好，Marcin仍决定退出；他想依靠自己的理念专注于攀岩和登山装备，于是Milo诞生了；1993年MILO开始了他攀登之历程；从一开始Milo就秉承原创之设计和一流之品质；第一件夹克采用Sympatex防水膜，但很快证明这是不够的；接着Aquatex防水膜在13年前被首次使用至今，并成为公司的专有产品；产品线也从轻质和棉质的,一直在拓宽到高科技的Aquatex, Softshell和Polartec材质的产品；由我们设计团队开发的MILO背包系列使得产品线更加完备；数年之中MILO就在波兰就声名远扬，跻身高端品牌之列，并很快走出波兰；即使首次参加国际展会效果平平，但这在之后的岁月里也带给我们有益且必需之经验；不久MILO的国外经销商的数量已接近于波兰国内之数量，MILO的产品出口也此成为公司的主营之方向；这就是MILO的现在，目前MILO仍在进行他攀登之历程…这就是为何我们的口号是：攀登中的MILO
The company was grounded in 1993 although it’s history reaches the end of the 80’s. Back in the days when the biggest neighbor of Poland was the Soviet Union and there was practically no private initiative allowed, today’s owners of Milo started to sew their first jackets on two simple sewing machines in one of their two rooms in a small flat in Warsaw. In these times they were one of few polish climbing and mountaineering garment manufacturers and PIONEERs in this branch.
After the changes, in the early 90’s, Marcin Kwasniewski started to build his experience in the probably most known polish outdoor brand at that time . Although the company had it’s best years in those days, Marcin decided to quit. He wanted to develop his own ideas and specialize in climbing and mountaineering stuff. This was the moment when Milo was grounded. In 1993 a small company was starting it's big climb. Right from the start the products were oriented to be originally designed and produced to meet up the highest quality standards. First jackets were made using the Sympatex membrane but soon it proved to be not enough. That was the time when the Aquatex membrane was used for the first time and now, since 13 years, is constantly developed becoming the company's specialty. The range of the products was constantly broadened from light and simple cottons to highly technical Aquatex, Softshell and Polartec jackets. Originally designed backpacks made the collection even more complete. After a few years Milo became eASIly recognizable in Poland and gained a deserved opinion of a high quality brand. Soon came the time to go abroad. Even if the first visits to international trade fairs were everything else than sUCCessful, they brought the necessary experience to take profits from in the forthcoming years. After a while the number of foREIgn partners came close to the quantity of the polish ones and the exportation of Milo products became the main company's objective. That's how it is now, Milo is still doing it's climbing route... that's why our motto is "Milo... of climbing" :-)
