                                  2.   On  the way to PingXiang City

At twelve o'clock of April 30, we all gathered at Gaige's store where  seemed to be a permanent setting-off-place. There were couple of guys and ladies who were going to see us off. Perhaps, the atmosphere touched HanXiao, she also wanted to go. There was still enough time for her to get her outfit.  But after some minutes of hesitation, she gave it up. But I could divined that she really wanted to go together with us.

Just after we got out of the warmth of our friends' farewell, we got into the heat of the stove-like compartment. The air-contidtioner didn't seem to work - There were too many people, even the aisle was crowded with passengers.  We edged through our way with great effort.  However after we were on our seats, it's found that DingDang and GuJie were still kept at the joint of two compartment.  I came back to rescue them.   Finally, we were a group again.

It's about nine hours away by train from ZhangJiaJie to PingXiang.  But for a team of 15 members, there were many fun to go.  We played the game of killing-people, played card games, and guys drank liquor and played liquor-game.  We made too much of noise, and were once warned by a female conductor.

Sometimes I admired those who can drink like a fish.  There were three fishes in our team.  They drank so much alcohol that they felt a little uncomfortable at length, and one guy's spirit was not up till next afternoon.

Time seemed to pass more quickly when we were having fun.  The train put in at 22:00 p.m.  But the guide didn't appeared as we had planned.  After some calls, the guide showed up  about half hour later.

We headed for the place where we would camp  at 11:00 p.m.  after we replenished ourselves with some food for the later days' lunch.     Half and an hour later, we finally got a restaurant to satisfy our growling stomach.  The food's price was very high, but we didn't get alternative.  We had no other choice.  Luckily, a hungry person never picked on foods.  We ate gratefully.

At around 1:30 a.m. , we arrived the place where we would get through the night after half hour fumbleing-and-tumbling in the darkness.  We all didn't have the feeling and strength to talk more words than needed.  All fellows set up tents as quickly as possible.

It's strange that I had no dream that night, at least I remeber nothing I dreamed.   I slept so sound, and I felt I was full of spirit and strength when I got up next morning.

I thought I was good enough to go up the mountain.  I was ready !
