       Ancient seafloor earthquake relics 1200 million years before present
       Some 1200 million years before present the unconsolidated chert-banded dolostone of Wumishan group was disturbed by sea-floor earthquake. The sedimentary beds were involved in soft deformational structures, such as, small foldings, small faultings and liquefied  sediment veins.
