Therm-a-Rest隶属Cascade Designs公司（Cascade Designs是一家主要生产户外休闲产品的公司,位于美国西雅图，由两位热衷于背包户外的前波音公司工程师于1972年创建，其最初的创新产品便是自充气的露营垫Therm-a-Rest），目前Therm-a-Rest主要生产便携的睡垫、枕头和座垫。

Therm-a-Rest 都带有一个能够极大方便使用的大流量自充气气阀。在使用睡垫的时候只需简单地打开阀门，睡垫便可以在短短的几分钟之内自动地将空气吸入，直至完全打开。不仅如此，您还可以利用这个自充气气阀方便的调节睡垫的舒适程度。

比如用户可以躺在睡垫上，重新打开气阀使睡垫内的空气多少得到自动调节，直到感觉舒适的时候重新关闭气阀，即可获得满意的使用效果。当不再使用睡垫的时候，也只需要简单地打开气阀，将睡垫卷起即可。这时，由于睡垫内部的空气被挤压出来，您只要将气阀关闭就可以方便地携带睡垫了，折叠后的睡垫尺寸也是非常小。
