背包负重超过20公斤。落石、冰裂缝、流雪崩的危险也比较大，队员们小心行进，最终经过6小时的攀登，通过了乱石坡和大雪坡抵达海拔5026米的C2营地。10日晚首先是狂风夹着暴雨袭击了C2营地，之后下起了大雪，队员们轮流值班清理帐篷周围的厚雪，防止大雪压跨帐篷和产生窒息。11日清晨6点，全体队员化雪烧水，准备技术装备，8点20出发冲顶。攀登至5250米悬崖后，由于仅仅带了60米干绳和一对小
冰镐，没有带
头灯，加之雪坡太陡，只有分为四个绳段，单人轮流设保护攀登，此时如果6人继续攀登，必然无法在天黑前返回C2营地，队员一人放弃了登顶，撤回C2营地，收集头灯，准备接应队友夜间下撤。剩余5名队员于13点50分登顶，经过在大雨中艰难下撤，于19点30分返回了C2营地。12日直接下撤到大本营坐车到理县，13日返回
成都。
