It has a relative height of over 350 meters , this square column has a thin upper part and a thick lower part . It looks like a long whip straight inserted into the earth . The stone peaks in Wulingyuan are made of red quartz sandstone and limestone glittering under the sunlight hence called the Golden Whip Rock and the stream flows by the Whip called Golden Whip Stream .
Next to the Whip is a parallel peak in the shape of an eagle , its middle higher part resemble its head and beak , with half spread wings and a slightly open beak looks like it is protecting the Whip from being stolen by the Drunken Arhat which is another Crag on the opposite side of the stream . Very vivid , thus called Eagle Guarded Whip .
Not far from the two stone columns , about tens of meters away , there is another stone peak in which the Baigujing once was hidden , that is a shooting place in the TV drama called Journey to the West . When Mot was a child , he saw the TV Series and loved that very much . The Monkey King who helped his Master fighting against demons on their way to India .
