瑞士杜富尔峰（Dufourspitze ）大本营（Monte rosa huette）报道：当地时间7月8日，从遥远的瑞士罗萨山（Monte rosa）传来好消息，中国
登山人王石、钟建民、阿旺于当地时间上午11：32登顶海拔4634米的瑞士最高峰--杜富尔峰，同</P>
<P>时登顶的还有两名同行的向导。由于杜富尔峰的天气在登山队将要登顶时开始转坏，登山队在登顶后没有做过多停留马上下撤，并在下撤途中向大本营报告了已经登顶的好消息。登山队员已于下午五点左右返回到采尔马特，整个攀登过程历时13个小时。</P>
<P> 登山队于7日中午出发，乘火车前往Rotenboden，在那里与两名当地登山向导汇合，并正式踏上了本次攀登杜富尔峰的征程。经过5小时的山地、冰河穿越，登山队于傍晚时分抵达海拔2795米杜富尔峰大本营Monte rosa huette。用过晚餐后向导再次检查了登山队员的装备，召开了简短的行前准备会，确定第二天出发时间。队员整体状态很放松，当晚九点左右，在一切准备妥当、确定没问题之后，为第二天攀登保存体力，队员相继休息入睡。</P>
<P> 8日凌晨2：30，杜富尔峰大本营上下一阵骚动，来自不同国家的各支攀登队伍起床准备开始攀登，并相继出发。来自中国的三名登山人－－王石、钟建民、阿旺以及两名向导也同时起床整理装备，并于三点整准时出发，另外一名向导随后跟了上去。至此，三名登山队员以及三名向导均开始了向杜富尔峰的挑战之路。</P>
<P> 三点过后，大本营又恢复了夜的寂静，整个营地中的人都在默默等待攀登者的消息。</P>
<P> “我们已经登顶了，三名队员和两名向导，时间是十一点左右，峰顶的天气开始转坏，我们没有停留，现在正在下撤途中！”，中午十二点左右，大本营接到了向导打回的电话，一直忐忑等待登山队消息的我们顿时一阵欢腾，大家都在为队员的顺利登顶兴奋、激动。但是，杜富尔峰天气转坏的消息又让我们为登山队捏了一把汗，直到登山队员和向导全部安全撤回大本营，大家心里的石头才算落地。下午五点左右，所有人员返回采尔马特，至此，此次瑞士最高峰－－杜富尔峰攀登活动圆满结束。</P>
