现在看来，那篇文章有些不准确的地方，第一个女子完成12座8000的应该是西班牙人Edurne Pasaban ，她也是第一个活着的无氧登顶K2的女子，几天后Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner登顶洛子峰，完成12座。
目前，Nives Meroi 完成11座，今年的两座攀登失败使她暂时落后，她也在06年无氧K2
