| The Nanxi River is loCATed in Yongjia County of Zhejiang Province. It is 23 kilometers from Wenzhou City, with Yandang Mountains on the east, the Xiandu on the west and the Xianju on the north. The river is a famous state-level scenic spot with a total area of 625 square kilometers. It was praised as the Cradle of Chinese Landscape Painting. Nanxi River is famous for its clean water, rare rocks, waterfall, ancient villages and shoals. The sinuous Nanxi River has 36 bends and 72 beaches, with a drainage area of 2,429 square kilometers. It is flowing through the entire region of Yongjia County of Wenzhou. Running from north to south, the Nanxi River first flows into the Oujiang River and finally empties into the East China Sea. The beauty of Nanxi River is that it is well preserved in its originality and nature. It was praised by experts as the Best Water under Heaven. The water is limpid, crystal-clear and not being polluted. When looking into the river, you can see fishes swimming in the water. Also you can see the reflections of the trees on both sides. If you will have a holiday, it’s really a good choice to spend some days here in summer. But for outdoor hiking, we won’t drive your guys into the scenic spot directly. We will have a chAllenging hiking way to go. And also we will do river tracing, so please prepare two pairs of shoes. It will be a nice and cool hiking in this summer. Rafting in Nanxi River is a hottest activity. You sit in a bamboo made catamaran which will drift very fast with the river waves, so exciting. It is really a good experience.  Hiking Schedule: The First day: 2013.7.12 (Friday night) 19:30: Gathering place eople's Square, Wusheng Road near the gate of Shanghai Museum. 20:00: We will start to leave on time. So don’t be late. 20:00-3:00: On the way… need 7 or 8 hours to drive there. And from 2am-5am, the high way forbidden to drive, so maybe stop three hours to rest. So the first night, everyone will sleep in the bus. The Second day: 2013.7.13 (Saturday) 6:00-6:30: Arrived the entrance of our hiking place. Before arrival, we should have breakfast in the bus, so bring some food for breakfast. Today we have to hike about 23KM to arrive the camping village. Nanxi River is famous for it's water-way hiking. So we should hike a lot in the water, so please prepare an extra suitable shoes. 11:00-12:00: Find a place to have lunch and rest. Maybe a place can swim? Dont be so excited. I knew you guys just wanna jump inside, take care. 18:00: We should hike at least 8 hours to arrive the village if everyone can keep the speed. If we wont be that late, can choose 1-2 hours more for rest and swim in the hot noon. Just hope that weekend wont be a raindy~ 18:00-19:00 inner time~ the village host has prepared us dinner.19:00-21:00:Swimming time~ Nearby the village, there a nice river for swimming. Just jump inside and get cool. But.... I need a swimming teacher~ T_T Note here: if you wanna a shower after swimming, the host will charge 10 RMB/EACH for shower. 21:00: We will start to make fire, it's fire happy hours~ Hope it wont that hot, if too hot, just cancel the fire. Play games, chatting with beers, as you wish~ The Third Day( 2013.7.14): 7:00: Get up and breakfast ~ 7:30: Set out to the Nanxi River scenic spot for the bamboo rafting. Will take 1H30M or so to arrive there.9:00: rafting time~ If time permitted, can walk around the scenic spot. 12:00: We have to back SH, otherwise, will arrive late again. T_T, for lunch, we will find a place and stop to buy some.
