P家新概念——可追溯羽绒，从此“羽”众不同

从2014年秋季开始，Patagonia推出的羽绒新品都带有可追溯羽绒标签。所谓可追溯，即Patagonia的供应链经第三方权威机构认证，保证羽绒产品生产过程中不存在活体取绒、强制灌食现象；羽绒原料的供应商必须经过独立审查且符合Patagonia的采购标准，才能达成合作。其实，早在2007年Patagonia就开始拜访农场，要求供应商保证动物福利，不强制灌食、不活体取绒。

羽绒产品的填充材料——羽绒原料，主要取自鸭和鹅身上的羽绒、羽毛，而从鸭鹅身上采集羽绒原料的方式分为活体取绒或宰杀取绒。由于活体取绒的成本较低，许多国家存在“活拔绒”的现象。一只鹅一生可以被多次活体取绒而不会导致死去；同时，农场主为了更快、更多地获取鹅肉、鹅肝，不断对鹅进行强制灌食。调查发现，一只鹅从出生到死去，最长的要在农场里生活4年之久，可能遭到多次活体取绒和强制灌食的风险。

一直极为重视环保和可持续发展的Patagonia品牌对这样的事情采取零容忍态度，拒绝任何理由伤害动物福利，而且Patagonia认为从不快乐的鹅身上获取的“沾着鲜血”的鹅绒也不会是优质的。
